So Glad You're Here!

Thank you so much for joining me in this space, it means so much to me! Starting this website and launching my own business has been a dream of mine for many years. I have big plans for this space and am eager to share my passion for whole food nutrition with all of you.

If you have a pressing health issue or find yourself in need of nutrition support, I would love to work with you! For those of you looking to get some new ideas and learn a little bit about feeding your family in a way that promotes health, I hope you follow along with this blog. I love to write (I was a Creative Writing major in college) and am really looking forward to having a place to share relevant research, recipes, tips, and new perspectives. I would love it if you left comments and shared your experience too, as one of the many benefits of community is getting to learn from one another.

Becoming a mom was a transformational experience for me. Caring for my daughter (and soon to be son) is the best job I have ever had and definitely impacts what I share here. Since my first pregnancy coincided with the completion of my Master’s Degree in Nutrition, I have become passionate about learning what kinds of foods are best for our kids and how we can give them the best start possible. The food system and culture around food here in the US is complex. I think it is important to teach our kids skills to navigate conversations about food, how to listen to their bodies, and how to fuel their brains with healthy foods.

Below is few different topics I plan to write on in the near future. If you have any other suggestions or questions, I would love your feedback!

  • My health story and how I got into nutrition

  • Blood sugar balance and how it impacts behavior (in kids and adults)

  • Food marketing for kids and how to respond to it

  • Developmental stages of babies and toddlers and how it relates to eating

  • Picky eaters and expanding the palate

  • The truth about pesticides and how our food is grown

  • Why food allergies and intolerances are becoming more prevalent

  • Children’s books that introduce healthy eating to kids in a fun way

  • Many, many more!!

If you are interested in these topics, please sign up for my email newsletter where I will share monthly updates on what’s new. As I said, please let me know (contact me here or leave a comment below!) if there is something you are really eager to start a discussion about. I am so excited to be initiating these conversations and supporting one another in finding health and nourishment!
